[AT] D17 with front fenders

     Well Charlie, I can think of a couple of reasons why fenders are used. 
Not only for mud and water, but also for dust. The dust is confined below 
the fenders and not picked up by the air blast from the fan. Also the 
fenders made with steps makes servicing easier for the radiator and front 
fuel tanks.
