[AT] good view of shifting a 13 speed roadranger

Frank,  when I think about it again (it's been 20+ years) I always 
'pre-selected before going to OD because you just lift your foot to let it 
shift and if it did shift early it wouldn't hurt anything.  Going from OD 
and making the shift up to the next gear I believe I usually waited until I 
pulled the lever to flip the switch.  Thanks for jogging my memory.

I found out something this morning I didn't know.  I was doing a web search 
about road rangers just to see what I could find.  They make a kit to 
convert a 9 speed into a 13 speed.  It makes sense.  It just bolts on the 
rear of the transmission and you cut the drive shaft off a bit.  I just 
never thought about it.
