Charllie you are probablly right but I guess hearing that type of sound 
coming from a farm tractor was what caught my attention. And thinking back 
even more there were the big Euclid scrapers that were used to build 
municipal roads here when I was a kid. When that rear engine opened up you 
could hear them for miles  and I'm pretty sure they were GM diesel powered.
