    Larry;
    I wish you a speedy recovery from your surgery. Older brother had a
replacement about 3 years ago and has regained full use of the knee and able
to do any thing within reason. He has gotten into restoring tractors since.

    He mentioned his surgeon and turns out to be a fellow a few years behind
me in school and the son of our mom's best friend. Doctor Tom Baker is rated
as one of the best in the country. Who would have thought that from a
graduate of our little country school.

                        Gene

I'm in a hospital rehabbing from knee replacement surgury, Charlie, so I'm
not going to go into the details, but the entire eco-system of the Baltic
has more to it than just the N-S latitude. The Baltic moderates the entire
weather pattern of the region. The tail end of the Gulf stream flows
between Sweden and Denmark. It has no tides, and northern Poland has more
moderate winters than other portions of the country which lie farther south.

It's one of those "Mr. Science" things.

Larry
