[AT] Mower deck treatment

Maybe you used the new and improved stuff.  I have had it last for many 
years, but I only mow three acres or so. It does get a dusty looking 
coating on it.  It doesn't stay the shiny black like when it goes on.  I 
haven't had any peel off.
