That's what I was thinking to Charlie, I could buy a new "Boomer" for about 32,000 or an older tractor like this one for bundles less. It's not like I'm going to ask it to do heavy tillage. The hardest work it will see is if I overturn the pasture (5 acres) and disk it up. Mike M

Mike,  if you drive it reasonably and don't try to find out how much it will 
handle it'll make a fine utility tractor for you.  They handle well and are 
fairly comfortable to operate.  Not as tough as some but they'll do the job. 
Unless there is some undetected problem with it you did pretty good at 
$4800.   It'll out work two or three of the little, modern choir tractors 
for about 1/4 to 1/3 the cost.
