Does it try to move when you turn it over? My H often gets stuck into gear due to a warn shifter so I have to take the shifter out and pry the transmission forks back into the neutral position. Other than that, you're right, no complicated safety equipment on these old toys.

Enjoy, Joe

I am in the process of restoring a '39 IHF H and I have the tractor in neutral
et it will not turn over unless the clutch is ingaged, I believe it is too old
or that to have been a safty system, si I think the hydraulics must be engaged
r some pto. However the side pully platform spins easily, the reae pto lever
hifts w/o changing the problem, any ideas?
