[AT] Odd rod on a WD Allis?

I've been around the the older model AC's since 1948, and I've never seen
anything like that. I suspect it is a locality or attachment thing. It
looks like this guy is pulling a drag plow, and maybe has some sort of front
end steering assist. There is something, just behind the steering wheels
that I can't make out. It surprises me he is using a tractor with
hydraulics and pulling a drag plow. Gil
