I'll buy that a WM changes the equation and those retailers that can't 
adapt will fail.

Sort of dog eat dog writ large.

Those small retailers that can provide value for their higher prices 
will survive.  Those that want to keep the higher price but not provide 
the value are doomed.

A couple years ago a WM was rumored for my county.  Then the economy 
turned so nothing for now.  For me that means 15 miles vs 10 miles.

I don't see WM as pure evil but I don't see it as lily white either.
