    Ohio is wet and gloomy also. Temperature is at 47 degrees with light 
rain all day. One heavy shower early morning left water running through the 
waterway. Snow has all melted, except the heaviest drifts and piles from 
clearing. January thaw will last till Tuesday night. Windy, with gusts to 35 
MPH. Not drying up the mud as the rain is keeping ahead of it. Ground is 
still frozen.
