Cubs without hydraulics are no different than those with hydraulics. There
is a plate at the left front of the engine where the pump mounts. The touch
control unit bolts to the torque tube. The drive train is also identical.
Removing the front rockshaft from the manual lift will allow installation of
the touch control unit and rockshaft.
T.M. Tractor has a photo section showing all the components of the
complete touch control system. www.tmtractor.com

Ran across a Cub with no hydraulics. It is a 48 model. I have not seen it
in person so I have some questions about this "oddball". Am I correct in
assuming the block is different than Cubs with hydraulics (no provision for
a pump)? Also, is the clutch and bull gear housings different than Cubs with
hydraulics? Specifically I am wondering if there is anywhere to bolt the
touch control and if the manual lift used the same mounting places on the
housings.
