I used to do a similar undercoating to my pickup in the fall in hopes of 
preventing some of the rust from road salt. Probabaly a bit of a health 
hazard though as I used to use the cleaning nozzle on the air compressor to 
spray a fine mist of oil and no doubt breathed in  a bit of oil vapour 
myself in the process. :-(
