My uncle had a sawmill in NE Missouri. It was a double bladed Frick
that my grandfather had. My grandfather had a steamer and threshing
machine. He put the steamer on the mill in winter. My uncle powered it
with a 15-30 for many years. My brother wanted to get the 15-30 running
but the engine and belt drive were worn out. The wheels were rotted off
where it sat for those many years. The transmission and rear end were
in almost new condition.

My uncle later got his hands on some 50' bridge beams and using the cab
and engine of an International KB built a portable mill. He could tear
down and set up again in 20 minutes. As far as I know the mill still
exists somewhere near Arbela but I have not seen it.
