[Farmall] Farmal H Fluid pumping out of hole in hydraulic fill cap

It would help to know a little more, such as what kind of loader, is it
stored outside, did you just buy it, or have you owned and used it for a
while, etc. The first thing that comes to mind is water contamination
raising the fluid level, though that is not common on hydraulics. The
second thing that comes to mind is either low fluid level causing
foaming, or the wrong fluid having been added that may also cause
foaming, the old liftalls used non detergent motor oil, though Hytran
could be used but motor oil needed to be flushed out first. One other
thing that comes to mind is that if it is a model 30 or 31 IH loader,
you need more plumbing. The H liftall does not hold enough fluid to
operate them (M does, but not H), and there are return lines that go
from the outer end of the cylinders to the fill cap of the hydraulic
system so overflow can go into the top of the cylinder, and then be
drawn back as needed. Here is a link to a copy of the owners manual for
the model 30 loader showing the needed additional plumbing if that is
what is needed. The plumbing for the model 31 is the same.
