Thanks for the information. 

Just went to local Ariens dealer, they did have the gear at $75.00, they had
4 left.  Sent note to ebay auction to see if it would work on a 932018
model, about the same price.  

Fixing for a friend so will let him know the costs... This is not a power
drive unit so its not something I would repair, but he may want to...

I don't know if it is true or not, but I saw somewhere that the parts for
the auger drive gearbox were not going to be sold any more---that you will
have to buy the entire gearbox.

I don't know if we are talking the same part numbers or not, but here is a
gear that I recently bought---if you need more info and cannot come up with
it, give me a holler---I can look up model numbers, etc.
