[AT] Another Case VAC question

Back when I brought home my Case VAC I got it fired up and drove it a
little before parking it. One thing I noticed was that while it ran
and drove nicely and shifted easily it did "sing" a little in the rear
end especially in high gear. I call it singing, it was not a growl and
certainly was not grinding. I am used to some singing especially in my
AC - C and a little from the Cub in high gear but not as much as I was
hearing from the VAC. The Fergusons and Fords I grew up on were very
quiet. Should I expect some "singing" from the rear end of a VAC? I
know that some of the older tractors sing a little loudly due to the
kinds of gears used. I'm not at all personally familiar with an older
Case.
