[AT] Yellow Farmall now cold starting

Gene,

I find the same with my MF35D (Perkins 3 cylinder).  The fuel preheater 
is long gone so when I want to start when cold I give it a small shot 
ether.  With this one only takes a half second spray into the intake. 
Takes very little to turn this engine over.

My John Deere 2010 diesel (4 cylinder JD engine)has glow plugs and will 
start reasonably to about 30°F if the battery is in good shape.  No 
ether ever touches this engine.  This engine is hard on batteries and 
starters.

Since I need antifreeze of some sort at 30°F it is rare that I start 
either tractor in such conditions.  One can do such when it is a rare 
day when the high is lower.
