[AT] gasoline

The truth is that the price is up because the US Treasury is printing money
like toilet paper and thus devaluing the dollar. China and Russia have
already agreed not to use the dollar as the default currency to trade oil.
Many of the middle east countries now favor the Euro. When the whole world
decided to select another default currency we'll be in big time trouble. We
already are, we just don't realize it yet. I don't mean that as political.
It's just fact.

The local (nw NJ) Shell has regular at $2.95/gallon, up two cents from
yesterday. According to the news reports I heard, the price of oil is
climbing because of demands for heating oil in the northeast US. I just
read predictions that gas is likely to be back up to $5 by 2012, for a
number of international political reasons.
