[Ford-ferguson] distributor

If it was mine, I would think seriously about dropping the oil pan. That 
takes a fair amount of work, but the Ford service manual for the 8N 
works you through it. You need basic hand tools, a hydraulic jack, and 
at least one jack stand (to support the tractor at the clutch housing. 
Then you can actually see what is happening. One advantage of doing this 
kind of job is that you get a chance to check out the front end, cooling 
system, etc. while you are at it.
