I have one that I dragged out of a field a few years ago and (mostly)
restored. I think it is a great machine. It is one of the earliest
"modern" IH tractors: independent PTO, independent hydraulics, remote
hydraulic outlets, TA, full instrumentation, optional power steering,
etc. Mine has a Fast Hitch, but they also came with a regular Cat I
three-point hitch. They were offered as a row crop, wide front, diesel
or gas (and I think propane), utility, and crawler. A friend has a
utility that he is restoring, and that is a nice machine too. You can
see some images of mine at <http://public.fotki.com/mikesloane/farmall_340/>

Best of luck with your machine,

Mike
