Hi Herb
I've been out in the combine all afternoon, like most days lately, so have
just got around to reading e mail.
Interesting to hear about the AC disker. While diskers were very popular
here in that era, the Allis Chalmers were not one of the better known. In
fact I can't recall ever seeing one. IH, Massey, Cockshutt, JD and Case were
all popular as well as another unique Canadian brand, CCIL. That stood for
Canadian Co-operative Implements and they sold diskers, combines, tractors
other equipment under this name.
You mention Kilberry and that is an old name from the fifties and sixties. I
knew it best as a brand of swather (windrower) that I believe later became
the Macdon company.
