[AT] Black Currant Pie

All the black currant discussion reminds me of one of my shifts working in
the dishroom of my college cafeteria, sometime around 1980.  You could
always tell what foods looked better than they tasted because lots of it
would come back into the dishroom mostly uneaten, still on the plate, riding
along the conveyor belt from the dining area.  One day a whole bunch of
pieces of pie were coming back in, and as I recall it was black currant and
raisin pie.  The filling was very dark and heavy looking.  I don't know what
it tasted like, but one of the pieces came back in with a napkin pinned to
it with a toothpick, and on the napkin somebody had written "Satan made this
pie."
