[AT] Remote hydraulics

A good friend has a White 2-105 with duel remotes.  On one of the control
valves, starting from scratch, the cylinder will extend but not retract.
With the control valve in the retract position it seems to him that both
hoses are under full pressure. 

He can shut the tractor down and the pressure seems to equalize. 

With the cylinder connected to the other remote it seems to   operate as it
should. He has had the control valves unbolted and they seem to be the same.
Just stacked one on top of the other.

Suggestions please.
