Google is your friend - the cost varies between $100+ down to about $70,
depending on who is selling them. If you order on-line, beware of the
"shipping charges" - they may be quite high and wipe out the savings. I
have heard that some of the chain auto parts stores carry them at
reduced prices, but they are not likely to have the kit for an old
tractor in stock.
Also, I have not ever converted any JD tractors, but they might not have
a kit for a 6 volt positive ground JD 60. You can go to the Pertronix
