[AT] Strange digger

I was once told, by an Englishman...

"Give an Englishman a piece of metal, and he will do something silly with it".

Looks like one of those crazy things you do to avoid someone's patent.

It wouldn't work very well, the lower part of the arm would
hit the ground when digging a ditch. Also ,the lever would
have an awful lot of bending moment on it, and doesn't
look heavy enough to take it.  Also, the center pivot pin
of the lever would have twice the digging force on it.

Very awkward.
