    H.L.
Glad you got the rain and hope you now get the dry weather to get the
planting done.
We had a nice drying weekend here in west central, Ohio. The tractors
and planters were starting to roll on Monday, and in full force on Tuesday
and Wednesday morning. More rain for Wednesday afternoon and most of the
night. Got up to 3 inches in some places. Not so much here and only standing
puddles in the fields.
I was fortunate and finished planting my soybeans on Wednesday morning
and finished just as a light shower started falling but was able to get the
drill cleaned out and equipment put away.
I attended the Portland swap meet today and Indidna and western Ohio is
very wet with virtually nothing planted. The heavy rains and already wet
soil conditions will be at least a week more delay for planting. Lots of
rain and mud seems to be the norm for the spring swap meet. I think all the
old iron attracts the rain clouds there.

                    Gene
