Doug, it run the same with the plug out ok in P + R. Gained a trans temp
and O/D light on dash but only in N and drive1,2. Next I plug it back in and
unplug what must be the saftey switch, hook up scan tool and it passed ? But
would not engage starter so I plug that back and start. Still only run in P,
R, bad in N, D,1,2. Then I hook scan tool back up, turned ign on and get 3
codes 1st was same as PO753 #2 was PO713 Trans Fluid Temp Sensor A Circuit
High Input #3, P1763 Manufacturer Control, Transmission. I clear scan tool
and get the same again. So next try see how it runs, the same. Recheck plugs
to make sure they are back in good and get the same again. Still runs the
same way.
Kevin M
PS. Previous owner said it worked OK when he quit driving it back when gas
was high.
