We all are happy to receive much needed rain. But now we are in need of a
little dry weather so that we can get some of our spring planting done.
Just when it is dry enough to work, more rain comes in. Luckily no real
flooding in this area but enough to mud things up.

The prediction is for a dry period next week. Hope so. Some of the vegetable
transplants that were ready have now been bumped up to larger pots with that
added expense. With the low light levels in the greenhouse some of the small
plants have stretched some, looking for sunshine.

Found this week is what I hope will turn out to be a bargain is a small
Grasshopper Zero turn mower. Needs some belts and TLC, engine seems strong
and starts quickly and hydraulics seems to work as it should. This is my
first mower that doesn't have a steering wheel.

Needed some tires for another application and called J. R. Tucker at Tuckers
tires in Tennessee, really a nice guy. This is truly a family operation, J.
R. His son Buddy, grandson one daughter a son in law. Any of them that I
have talked to seem more than happy to offer full service. J. R. Told me
that he no longer hangs out on this list, because of time constraints, but
he does have a booming business on eBay.
