You're not kidding. The local parts places LOVE to hire bright eyed
college kids. They don't have clue one about parts but they work cheap...

When I hit the store now I take the factory part number, the part number
that the particular store has and in some cases the part itself, AND I
still have trouble. I have tried getting a job in a couple of them but
they tell me that I am overqualified. I guess they would rather turn
over 50 kids than have someone who would actually provide customer
service and the correct parts!
