Who was that under-appreciated philosopher from baseball (Yogi Berra)  
who said:

"You can see a lot by just looking."

Or adapted to the Ford:
"You can hear a lot by just listening."
(it's the same with the communication radios that I work on.)

One of my high school classmates was a real wizard at 4 stroke  
motorcycles.
He could guess how much a BMW or Honda crank shaft was out of round by  
listening to it go by on the road.
It's no wonder that many folks who bought a new Honda would bring it  
from the dealer directly to him for a correct tune up.
