[Farmall] IH dozer

I came across a small IH dozer yesterday with a bad engine--appears to be 
built in the 60's or 70's. I believe it is a 500 series? Anyway, the engine 
is surprisingly small. There fellow was told it is the same engine as in 
something along the lines of a C or a 140. Anybody know of any wheeled 
tractor engines that would interchange? Between being parked long enough for 
trees to grow up around it and the engine being wrapped up in a canvas, it 
was hard to give it a real close exam.
