Everyone,

I REALLY appreciate the advice and information you all have sent.

These things are all new to me.  We did have some fence put in here  
(about 2000 feet) by a fellow whose tractor and rear mounted fencing  
rig were well built for the job.  Other than that, I've only seen two- 
person hand operated hole diggers in use.

To use this digger, we'd need to borrow a tractor (ours has no three  
point hitch).  It might turn out that the right thing to do is get  
this digger home, assess it's condition, and find a new buyer for it.   
Then the likely small profit would be used to help hire that guy with  
the monster fencing rig again.
