While I agree it's a little high for an A i want to mention the PTO on an A 
turns the correct way.  It is a cub that has a backwards PTO.



If you can get over the fact it has no hydraulic lift and implements like 
plows, snow blades, cultivators, etc. are kind of hard to come by for an A, 
they aren't a bad tractor.   I paid $500 for mine with a set of cultivators. 
I've since bought a plow and snowblade for it and each cost me $300 or more.
