Charles,  that sounds great.And you make fixing the PTO sound reasonable.  I 
sure would like to have that manual.   The hard starting, was yours gas or 
diesel ? I notice that this one likes a bit of choke even when warm.  The 
last JD`s we had were a couple B models, they were hard starting also.
