The 9n belt assy was expanded to use on bigger tractors, but was replaced
with a heavier unit by ferg mf.
The ford 800 and mf 65 had too much power for the old pulley. Parts for the
pulley were available for a long time. By 1975, many parts were only
available from other suppliers. There always was, and remains, a big
aftermarket for N parts. Many of these parts are not of OEM quality. Original
parts were very good.

During the 9n2n years, Mr Ferguson did not have a factory, and all parts
were made by Ford, Sherman, or contractors. Sherman items were very good.

When the TE 20 was introduced, many of the same 9n contractors were used
to supply the Ferg Co. with imps and accys. The Ferg Co did sell parts for
the 9n for some time after 1946.
