Larry,

That is the consensus of opinion around here as well.  I know several 
people who bought various ZTR mowers then sold them as they had real 
problems on slopes and we have PLENTY of slopes here.
I have a JD F725 (front deck commercial mower) that is getting very long 
in the tooth.  A ZTR isn't in my plans because of the slope issue.

I don't know if JD still manufactures a front deck mower but that would 
be more to my liking.
