Sorry to tell you NONE of the Super Cubs were IH built. They were built
under the Cub Cadet Corp. tag, Which was MTDs first version of the
company after they bought it.

BUT, It is actually the same design and frame as the earlier 82 series
that were IH built. Until you hit the 1000/2000/3000 series the tractors
were all built using the IH designs, just had some parts altered.

The TSC Fluid works fine. I run it in mine with no problem. All the
"real" IH Hy-Tran actually contains is a 20 weight oil, with an additive
which encapsulates water. The TSC does the same thing.

You should, I change mine out every 100 hours. I figure that 20 bucks
for the oil, and 10 for the filter is CHEAP compared to the price of a
new tractor of equivalent ability.
