The only Cub loader I am familiar with was the IH 1000 loader (that was 
shared with the Cub and the Farmall Super A, using slightly different 
mounting hardware). On the 1000 loader, the control stand was a hollow 
pillar that served as an additional reservoir for the fluid needed. 
There was a "manifold" added to the existing manifold that passed fluid 
from the additional reservoir through the valves. If you have the 1000 
loader without that special manifold arrangement, you are "up the creek 
without a paddle". You can see an image of the control stand (and my
