[AT] OT--laser vrs optical mouse, etc.

I've got a Logitech optical.  I use the touch pad on my laptop for ordinary 
stuff and only use the mouse for some graphics stuff I do.  Keep it turned 
off when not in use.  Battery life is very good if you have the option of 
turning it off.
