I have one of those old Lincoln Generator welders also. Gave $50 for it
when a local welder sold out. It sounds like a jet engine, but it will
weld all day long and never load up. I am thinking of mounting it on a
trailer with a 15KW generator and a torch and an extra plasma cutter and
compressor to make a portable welder/scrapping setup.
Every time I fix up a portable engine driven welder, someone has to make
an offer on it and I always need money for more projects...
