[AT] OT--laser vrs optical mouse, etc. cold

Charlie, if it ever gets up to +6 here I don't know how I will stand the
heat. :-). It has warmed up to -15F this afternoon and I will be heading out
soon to fire up the Super 90 Massey to put a couple of hay bales out for the
cattle.
Had to start my Blazer the other night after it sat outside in -30 temps for
about six hours and I have never heard that starter turn over so slow, but
luckily it fired up and got me home. The steering was pretty heavy and every
little bump felt like the tires were solid rubber with no give at all.
Wouldn't want to do that too often.

You will just have to move a little further North, Bob to get away from the
cold. (grin). After being at 0.0 last evening, we clouded over and made it
to +6 by morning. I am not going to try to start any tractors at below 32.
I do have four that need some running to maintain batteries, but not until
the next thaw.

Good article on Thursday.
