Charlie, actually you reminded me of a place that carries parts for older 
"normal" size trucks. It is possible they may have some items or can turn up 
some leads.I have a catalog for them at the shop but can't remember the name 
of the outfit.

Funny you mentioned a Ford dealer. Maybe trucks over 1 ton are different but 
definetly anything smaller is a joke with them. I needed a fuel pump relay 
for my '91 F-150 and they couldn't even look it up at one dealership---and 
the majority of their business is/was selling pickups!!!
