[AT] Polar Ice Caps

I used to put one under the hood of my '47 Ford on really cold nights, Bob. I would place it near the radiator with the beam on the firewall, near the battery. By morning, the snow would be gone from the ground under the motor and the old 6 volt would crank the flat head V-8 like a summer day. My theory was that the lamp would run for less than 25 cents a night. Missing a couple of hours of work because the car did not start would cost quite a bit more, not to mention the embarrassment of being late..
