Dean, for his families sake, I sure hope he has good estate lawyers.   Most 
big antique collections like that get sold to pay the taxes the IRS imposes 
on the estate.
Surely is a nice collection!

There is a John Deere (plus other brands) collector in Wisconsin by the name
of Walter Keller who will leave quite a legacy when he passes on.
Fortunately his son will assume responsibility. A collection of 400 plus
very rare, 1st and last serial number of models, one of a kind, limited
production, etc. Most fully restored and all inside multiple buildings.
Minneapolis Moline's and other brands as well. It is well worth a trip. If
Walter gives the tour he will provide intimate and unique details of each
tractor off the top of his head. I took some pictures there. Some not so
good but at least you will get a feel of what the potential is. See:

Thanks for sharing.
We all lose when good people like  Mr. Littlefield pass on prematurely.
If one is in the area, a definite MUST is a nice, not real large, working
railroad museum in Portola; we spent a couple enjoyable hours there several
years ago.   Several members were there doing some light maintenance,
etc.(getting their hours in), so it became very educational for us.
