Jerry - I'm guessing you mean the ammeter shows a discharge but in either
case, have you tried polarizing the generator to get it to charge?

I have a super C. While running the volt meter reads discharge. I have had
the generator and the regulator checked. They are both good and working. I
was told that if I take the cover off the regulator and stretch the spring a
little that it would increase the charging to the + side. Has any one else
ever had this problem and will this work? This a 6 volt system. There are NO
shorts in the system. Jerry Kleehammer
