Sorry to hear about that. I had an English pointer (foster home for the
humane society) and she was a great dog. I remember a cat was sleeping in a
paper bag, and she went into a perfect point, looked back at me(saying come
on shoot the critter) looked back at the bag, stepped a foot closer, looked
back, and then when she decided I was failing my responsibilities, she
flushed the cat.. I would have yelled at her but it was just too funny

Charlie -

Sad day at our house. Our pointer Belle has had liver problems since last
March, but meds seemed to help until about two months ago when she started
losing weight and appetite. An exploratory this morning showed her liver in
advanced stages of cancer. So we had her euthenized right afterwards. My
wife and I were there petting her and talking to her right to the end.

She was a great little dog http://en-us.www.bobmcnitt.org/

Hi Bob,

Actually two of them. The wheels in their heads are always turning but they
have not been taught to drive. I might be able to work on that with the
cost of gasoline lower. (Grin)

Have you read of the new state law to require lights on tractors used on
roads. That in itself is probably a good thing, but there is also other
baggage with it which mandated a truckload of other regulations be developed
for farm tractors on roads.
