Charlie, I think the tractor you refer to would be the Versatile
bi-directional tractor. They could be operated in either direction and were
a real handy workhorse on the farm. In fact our village maintenance men use
one for all the work including snowblowing, etc. They are Ford blue now but
when Versatile first built them about 30 years ago they were all red.

Also, I saw a NH up in Maryland at Chrismas that was
about as slick a rig as I've seen lately. It was a farm tractor of probably
100+ HP on a fairly large frame but the seat was turned around backwards.
The whold back of the cab was a big sheet of glass with a big windshield
wiper. It was set up with a huge snowplow and had joy stick controls on
both arm rests. It would be a pleasure to clear snow in that rig.
