they are great for some uses, but as Mike said, do not use on sheet 
metal, and are very loud.  hearing and eye protection are  very 
necessary.  they also need to be oiled (air tool oil) regularly.  Really 
good for heavy rust scale, such as the interior of wheels, Tough paint 
and even caked on grease on castings.
