Subject: [AT] ice storm

We just had electric back on, after it being off for 18 days. The ice wind
broke 90% of the elictric poles, and the trees are a mess. The weather folk
say this was the worse in recorded history. I am glad to be able to store
the generator for awhile. Most the folks around here are still out of
electric still. Them generators really like the gas, and the older gen we
started out. Just holds 3 quarts gas, so i hooked it up to a 3 gallon boat
gas tank. As it was with the little tank keptme running cont duty
refueling.
So we heared that the local farm store just got a 100, 6000watt generators.
So I was gone in a minute to get one (chinesse crap) being the only thing
availible and it has a 6.5 Gallon tank on it.
If we had not been able find that they had them they would have been all
sold the same day.
Hope yall dont get it like we have had it the past 3 weeks.
Tractor ref, I used the 560, 504, M 6 cyl tractors to assist in cleanup,
getting the trees off the fence.
Below is link to some pics that I took with the old sony mavica 3.5 floppy
discs And they are not as good.
