[AT] Is everyone okay?

I have not done it myself, but I have heard that a light application of
two-part epoxy (like JB Weld) will work as well, if not better than
soldering a leaking float.

I have never had a problem with my Unicorn splitter, but, like any piece
of operating machinery, I take a lot of precautions, including not
getting my hands or clothing anywhere near the turning screw. Also, it
is very important to have good footing when operating the machine - ice
and soft-soled shoes are a no-no.
